(Weiss Schnee wrote all of this, and literally none of it is accurate. ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ I'm too lazy to change it, though. It's good for a laugh, I guess! I'm just a regular guy, thanks.)
Yo! My name's Kazuya Minegishi. I'm just your average boy... or so I thought! As it turns out, my world has a demon infestation problem, and guess who got roped into taking care of it? That's right. It's your boy.
Don't get me wrong-- I'm no hero. I'd rather be listening to cool music on my MP3 player than summoning demons. But hey, when the fate of the world and my friends is on the line, a guy's gotta do what a guy's gotta do.
Pretty cool, right? I'm so cool. I've since ascended to the throne and become the King of Demons. All the demons in the world now bow to me. I may look like a lanky boy, but I've got so much power and hunger for human souls.
To rise up the ranks, of course! I currently live in the worst room possible, and it is my goal to take me and my friends to the top.
Yo, they call me the King of Rap, the polymath prodigy,
Got skills so diverse, I'm a one-man symphony.
Chess boards tremble at my touch, kings bow to my gambits,
Checkmate in five, your intellect scattered in fragments.
But strategy ain't the only language I speak,
Fifty tongues on lock, conversation unique.
Mandarin to Maori, Farsi to French, I flow,
Every syllable a weapon, watch the knowledge overthrow.
Books devour me whole, knowledge my fuel,
IQ off the charts, Einstein eat your drool.
Philosophy dissected, science on my tongue,
History dances with future, a symphony unsung.
But don't mistake me for a brainiac in a gown,
My skills ain't confined to academia's crown.
Kitchen's my canvas, flames my brush, I paint,
Flavors explode, palates sing, no culinary complaint.
And when the chaos reigns, I'm the hurricane's eye,
Dust bunnies tremble, grime surrenders with a sigh.
This ain't just brag, it's a testament to life,
Each talent a facet, cutting through the strife.
Mind sharp as a rapier, words sharper than knives,
My bite ain't for aggression, it's wisdom that thrives.
So come one, come all, test the multi-faceted skill,
Board games or Babel, I'll conquer with will.
Renaissance Rap ain't a title, it's a soul unbound,
Where knowledge and passion in a masterpiece are found.
Forget books, music, and food. LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE BEST MOVIE EVER!!!!!!
Buckle up, because you're about to witness the wildest flight of your life - a honey-soaked, pollen-powered fever dream where bees sue humans for stealing their syrup! Imagine this: a world buzzing with disgruntled pollinators, led by a rogue honeybee with a taste for jazz and a bone to pick with Big Sugar. Picture him, wings slicked back with rebellious swagger, delivering courtroom diatribes against greedy humans harvesting their golden nectar.
Get ready for courtroom antics that would make a hornet laugh, with witness stands overflowing with jittery bumblebees and nervous ants. See bees in disguise infiltrate honey factories, unleashing chaos with pollen bombs and sticky sabotage. Witness epic courtroom showdowns, where the fate of a jar of honey hangs in the balance, and one sassy bee's rap skills hold the key to unlocking freedom for his buzzing brethren. So grab your pollen basket and prepare for a cinematic trip so bonkers, it'll leave you questioning everything you thought you knew about honey... and jazz.
She is the winter's whisper, a breath of cool defiance in a world ablaze. Her beauty is sculpted ice, sharp angles softened by the ghost of a smile. Her eyes, the color of a glacier's heart, hold depths both chilling and captivating, promising untold stories etched in frost.
Her strength isn't the blaring anthem of a warrior, but the quiet hum of resilience, a willow that bends but never breaks. Her mind, a labyrinth of icy intellect, houses a cunning that outmaneuvers the mightiest storms. Yet, beneath the glacial facade lies a hidden well of empathy, a warmth that thaws frozen hearts with the gentle grace of a spring thaw.
She is a paradox, a symphony of contradictions played on the strings of fate. A creature of both elegance and grit, where icy brilliance dances with the raw power of a blizzard. She is the woman who walks through fire, not unscathed, but ever more resplendent for the kiss of the flames.
She is, quite simply, unforgettable. And though the world may try to confine her, to label her as fragile or cold, she will forever be the untamed spirit, the whisper of winter that carves its own path through the storm.
Though, I suppose anyone with similar traits will do. I'm very easy!
Wine. I'm very classy.

Yuzu Tanikawa, a friend I've known more or less my entire life, and Atsuro Kihara, who I met a few years ago. [He hums softly. Where does he begin telling anyone about them? About the two people who he holds most dear to him?]
And then Weiss Schnee, who's here. [But he sounds more immediately fond of her. A consequence of being in her orbit far more recently than the other two. Not that he loves them any less, of course. But thinking about them hurts, more so when his mind drifts to how long it's been since he's seen either of them.]
She's prim and proper... A perfectionist to a T, someone who plans out their entire day and doesn't like things going off schedule. She's an heiress back home, apparently, but she also made it her life's work to protect the people of her home from monsters. She's a good person, and she'd go out of her way to help anyone who needed it. She's helped me more than anyone could ever know here.

[and he listens with full interest to Kazuya's answer to his question, too. immediately, he wants to ask more about Yuzu and Atsuro-- two members of Kazuya's team, perhaps?-- but the way his companion moves on quickly is pretty telling. and honestly? Akira can't blame him. it has only been a month or so since Akira saw any of his thieves beyond Yusuke, and already thinking back on them invites a wistful pang of longing that is best left kept under wraps. reminiscing about those left behind seems like a quick way to cause heartache]
From the way you describe her, she sounds pretty impressive. [he means that, too] It's good that you found someone you can lean on like that, too.
This place. . . [that smile falters, more pensive than attentive] . . . it seems like it can take a lot out of you.
no subject
[Too much happens. Too much goes on to dissuade that sort of behaviour. It even goes directly against the game they were all brought here to play. You can't escape if you don't collect cards, and even at best... You can only rely on one person for one suit. You'd still need three other people.
Idly, he continues petting Akira's hair, gentle in his motions.]
I already told you that I didn't think much about sex back home, but I can't say it's not something I enjoy either. Truth be told, I don't mind this place as much as I thought I would a year ago. There's good people here, and I even get to learn about other worlds, and even alternate versions of my own where other crazy things happened, you know?
no subject
There's strength in finding good things to latch onto in an otherwise crappy situation.
[it's what he had done. . . right? and he came away from it a better person]
People to lean on, things to learn, experiences to treasure. . .
[wait. hang on]
โ what do you mean by alternate versions of your own world?
no subject
Yeah? I mean, we're both from Tokyo, but the same things never occured for me that happened for you. And that applies to other people too. For you, demons never invaded Tokyo. You might have still dealt with supernatural entities, but it's not even remotely the same as what I went through....
no subject
[a pause as he considers how best to phrase what he wants to say next]
I hadn't really considered it an alternate version of my own, though.
[rather, he had just thought of it as another world entirely. a completely different Tokyo in a completely different universe, inhabited by completely different people who experience completely different events]
. . . but you're not wrong when you say it is.
no subject
[ Kazuya hums a soft little contemplative note. ]
My demons, your personas... They're far too similar to be a coincidence. On top of that, Makai is vast. It's connected to several different "worlds", from my understanding. And then there's the outter realm too, which is, or was, God's domain. Even He came from Elsewhere, before he shattered Bel Marduk's power and took the throne.
no subject
I don't know what Makai is, but. . . is it possible that our Tokyos were connected even before we were brought here?
[that they had always been "neighbors" in the vast universe, so to speak? and he doesn't mean just him and Kazuya, either. Yu is also from a version of Japan; Akira assumes it is the same as his own, considering their shared experiences. and he is sure there are others amidst the resort's walls whose Tokyos are entirely different from any of theirs, with no demons nor Personas of which to speak. are they part of the neighborhood??]
no subject
[ Since demons are also in essence, born from there. And all humans await their turn to have their souls scrubbed clean of their memories, and then reincarnate. ]
Awhile back, Yu and I were comparing my demons versus his personas. They're pretty much physically identical, which I thought was interesting. On top of that, we both have access to the same forms of magic. Diarahan, Agi, Bufu... Though interestingly, there was one spell where we differed. For me, it's Zan. For him, it was Garu.
no subject
[a thoughtful hum buzzes on his lips, before they gently curve into a smile]
I hate to say it, but it's "garu" for me, too.
. . . how do you get to Makai? Or the Sea of Souls?
no subject
He toys with Akira's hair idly. ]
Humans can't get to Makai. And any who do quickly die. [ It's why he had to give up his humanity and soul. So he could rally an army there. ]
It's strictly for demons and otherworldly beings. As for the Sea of Souls, that's where humans go when they die. Your soul gets scrubbed clean of all of it's memories, and then you reincarnate, basically becoming a new person.
1/2
[well!! so much for that brilliant idea]
I was going to suggest using it as a highway to travel between Tokyos, but I guess that isn't an option.
no subject
[WAIT]
โ did you just answer the age long philosophical question of "what what happens after we die?"
no subject
[??? Actually, Naoya would know way, way more than him about that, wouldn't he? What with his constant reincarnation... ]
Pretty lackluster, isn't it? And using it as a highway does seem like a good idea until the fact that humans can't go there comes into play. And then you'd also have to weaken the barriers in your world that keep demons out of it. Not a great thing to do, honestly.
no subject
. . . I don't think "lackluster" is the word I'd use. . .
[. . . but it's true that there isn't much he can do about it but exhale a sharp semi-laugh]
And I think my world has enough problems of its own that adding demons on top of things would be. . . [lifts a hand and waggles it. Akira has had enough fighting during his tenure as a Wild Card, he does not wish to be called upon by the threads of fate yet again] Though I bet letting them in would really piss off the gods.
[the gods he keeps having to beat up]
no subject
[ Zouchou, Koumoku, Bishamon, and Jikokuten, who had been killed several months prior to the lockdown for him. ]
It's pretty crazy, actually. I had to kill them to let demons in myself, before I could ascend the throne of Bel.
no subject
[then again, it's not like Akira would have come across them himself, if they weren't causing any problems for humanity]
What were their names?
[so he can tell Kazuya that the Four Heavenly Kings reside somewhere in his soul as his Personas lololol]
no subject
[ It's fine. Hes used to Personas being weird little guys with no agency of their own, or whatever. ]
The four Devas, or Heavenly Kings.
no subject
[a tiny little grin]
I have all four of them. Bishamonten, Jikokuten, Koumokuten, and Zouchouten.
When I fused them all together, I got Asura.
no subject
[Kazuya didn't... He just needed two demons, whichever ones the compendium told him to smash together.]
I've only ever needed two.
no subject
Stronger Personas required more pieces to assemble. [sure, that's the better way to put it. nobody needs to know about the whole execution thing] I needed six to fuse Lucifer.
no subject
[The demon who said he was his real father...]
Lets not talk about him, okay?
no subject
Mm. Got it.
[it's probably a good thing he doesn't have Lucifer on him then, right? Akira changes the subject quickly]
Point is, for me, sometimes two just wouldn't cut it. But I guess I was working with aspects of my soul, and not. . . separate sentient beings.
no subject
[Shout out to Gagyson, who said that Kazuya was more of a demon than him for fusing demons together.]
At least yours didn't put up a fuss.
no subject
No, but sometimes I still felt kind of bad about it.
[the guillotine was pretty macabre. it took him some getting used to, but in the end, he forcibly desensitized himself to the sight of the blade descending upon the heads of his weaker Personas]
How did fusing work for you? Did you just smash them together, or. . .
