Her focus shifts instead to Kazuya's lips as he keeps prattling away. What was he talking about? It's hard to listen when his lips look so soft and inviting.
She rises from her seat, the legs scraping the floor noisily before she pivots over to his side of the table. One hand settles on his chest as she lowers herself onto him, legs straddling Kazuya's hips. Another hand cups his face, pulling him in for a soft, chaste kiss. ]
[For a brief moment, he wonders if he's in trouble when she gets up to move. To the point where when she grabs his face, he doesn't fight it, mind instead worrying that maybe he's weirded her out or something and he's about to get the boot from her cafe.
Instead, her lips are on his. Soft. Warm. Inviting.
She's really as sweet as the drink she made for him, isn't she? Reflexively, his hands loosely encircle her waist, and he finds he's kissing her back. It's something maybe a little less than chaste, and his eyes slip closed.]
[ Her face is warm, tingling pleasantly when Kazuya kisses her back. She leans further against him, to coax him farther into her mouth, parting her lips slightly as invitation.
Her arms wrap around him, a finger twirling a strand of blue playfully.
He feels so nice and she's forgotten all about whatever it was they were discussing mere seconds ago. ]
[Weird. What had they been talking about? It's not even registering in his mind as something to worry about, to think about. Her lips are parted, and she's kissing him and warm in his lap. And apparently wants more.
He's better at kissing like this now than he was when he first arrived, but this is, in fact, someone he isn't used to kissing. So he tries to be slower about it. More methodical as he slips his tongue into her mouth, pulls her a little more firmly into his lap and braces her.]
[His eyes blink open as she pulls away, and he's in much the same state as she is. Confused. A little dazed, and there's a dusting of pink on his cheeks. Unlike her, however, he is thinking that the kiss was nice, wasn't it?
And it's in the midst of those thoughts that she shoves off of him, and tumbles to the floor. Quickly, he scrambles upwards, moving to awkwardly help her up as his heart starts pounding. Nerves, anxious energy, and a little bit of an awkward, leftover warm want.]
Ah, I'm- Sorry. I didn't- I don't know what came over me!
[He says, like he was the one in her lap instead.]
[ She sounds out of breath, completely flustered. When Kazuya moves toward her to offer assistance, she instantly retreats her hand on reflex, almost afraid if they touch again they'll-
Her face is hot at the thought. ]
I didn't mean to... I don't know what's going on! I'm so sorry! That was indecent!

[That feeling in the pit of his stomach that wasn't from the kiss... Yeah, he's familiar with it, and memories come rushing back to him of December, of kissing several people because a stupid plant wanted it and made them do it.
This one had been a little more forceful about it, but he's not stupid. He knows what people do under devils fuge.]
I think the spell is broken, so we should be safe now, Haru.
[ She starts to her feet, knees shaking. Her hands smooth down her skirt and dust away any dirt that may have gotten on it. The whole time, she averts her gaze, not daring to look upon Kazuya and see his lips in case that spell overtakes her again. ]
I-I need to go... um, do inventory. [ In the middle of the day. Yes. ] Yes! I'm sorry! I have to get back to work!
Oh! I can help, if you want! Since you've already closed up, and stuff...
[It's his nerves that keep him rooted in spot, and absolutely oblivious to just how nervous she is, despite the fact he really should know, given the scent permeating the cafe... On the other hand, that really could just be him, couldn't it?]
Um... Maybe I should walk you home too? In case something happens...
[It's genuine concern he has for her! Especially in the situation that's going on all around them.]
[ She waves her hands, partly looking up at him, but then quickly turning on her heel so she can start towards the kitchen. ]
It's going to take a while! And um... i-it's probably for the best you go home. [ To his boyfriend. ] Er, or wherever your boyfriend isn't? Because of...
[ The other issue he was having.
Oh god. She feels she might implode and collapse into herself like a dying star. ]
It's okay! I really don't mind! Besides, it's kind of peaceful here!
[And he needs the calm. And to do something to help. He's quick to try and keep step with her... Please let him help... He needs to do something. To apologize for kissing her like that, even if they'd both wanted to kiss each other. Or at least, kiss each other in the moment, while under the effect of plant magic...]
[ She can feel him lingering close to her. It makes the hair on her neck rise, just like they had when moments ago when their lips were pressed against one another's and her hand was playing with his soft hair.
She squeezes her eyes shut, stalling in place and balling her fists. ]
Kazuya-kun.
[ She can't believe her first kiss was induced by magic and not- ]
[Then...? Had he messed up big time? He hadn't really had control of his mind, and it wasn't really his fault, but now he feels pretty bad for Haru for kissing her like that.
He takes a few steps back, and nods.]
