Reflexively, his hands come up and he shoves at Akechi as hard as he can, not knowing the strength he has in his body.]

[Kazuya reacts. Shoves. The strength of a king still exists and forces Akechi back a few paces.

But he doesn't do what Akechi wants. Doesn't fight back. Doesn't go on the offensive. No shadows or demons appear to rip through Akechi's flesh.
